Blackberry Leap is the upgraded version of the Z10 and also Z3 add to that the mobile will be cheap so we got a copy and this is our opinion about it .
Design and manufacturing quality
The remarkable thing in the design of this phone is thickness with 9.5 mm , but the weight 170 grams considered that's somewhat heavy on a mobile phone in size of 5 inches , in the front you will find slim frames from the right and left , but the upper and lower frames take much space and the bottom frame holds the BlackBerry logo which is made from chrome.
On the right, you'll find the volume buttons and from the back you w'll find layer of enamel plastic , and the rear camera with accuracy of 8 megapixel and a single LED flash and below and from the same side you w'll find the loudspeaker and from the left you w'll find port of SIM from type microsim and port for the external storage memory in case that the 16 GB not enough you can raise the capacity to 128 GB , and you'll find front camera with accuracy of 2-megapixel and a number of sensors and earphone for calls.
screen and sound
phone present a screen with size of five inches and resolution 720p with LCD technology and density of pixels 294 and the nice thing about the screen is the color level and the balance of the white color , and about the angles of vision but the lighting power in this screen is medium is not as we accustomed with Blackberry .
about the level of sound there is one one speaker from back which can easily covering but the sound level was high and there is no problem.
performance and battery
phone has specification was introduced two years ago , it has Snapdragon S4 Plus processor dual core with frequency of 1.2 GHz and random memory 2 GB , and graphics processor Adreno 305 , in fact i disappointed in terms of using the phone because it was very slow in some games with high details and resolution and also with opening applications and with some android softwares.
phone holds battery 2800 mA in spite of the small size of the battery but i am very surprised from it performance because through normal use such as communication continuously with social networking sites and browsing internet and tried some applications and watch some videos in YouTube but the phone withstood to day and half day and i'am sure that if reduced the using process it w'll withstand for two days and with the standby position , the phone will withstand to 4 days and this is very beautiful!
camera
quality of photos ? do not expect amazing thing where you can get good pictures in good lighting with high speed in capturing and the HDR feature workig well but in low light or in the dark you will notice that the quality will reduce significantly .
system
You can exit the application through the clouds from the bottom to up and or brings the side menu through clouds from left to right or appearance a list with tools of communication through clouds from top to bottom and you can use Blend software in condition that it is installed on your computer such as responding mails and text messages and the instant communication through Blackberry Messenger .
Blackberry Leap is a mobile phone dedicated to those who loves Blackberry company it's characterized by a good voice and with good quality of manufacturing but with heavy weight and the camera is acceptable generally and amazing battery but it's not good to those who like games with high resolution .
